The resort has 180 elegant rooms and luxury suites. All rooms facing the oean have marble bathrooms, private terraces, and a private jacuzzi. The penthouses are each equipped with there own swimming pool. There are studio, one bedroom and two bedroom units. The Studio Lagoon View units include a king bed and sofa bed in the living area with T.V. and open to a lagoon view balcony. Each has a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. The bathroom has Italian marble and an over-sized tub. These units represent the best value. The Studio Ocean View units include a king bed and sofa be in the living area with T.V. The balcony opens to a tremendous ocean view and has a private jacuzzi. These units are also equipped with a full kitchen with granite counter tops. The bathroom has italian marble and an over-sized tub. Some of the larger units include a slider door which can be closed to separate the king bed from the sleeper sofa for privacy.  The One Bedroom Ocean Front units are essentially the same as the ocean front studios, but include a master bedroom with king bed. The Two Bedroom Ocean Front units have an additional bedroom with two twin beds and also have a lagoon view balcony. The Two Bedroom Penthouse units have a plunge pool and full dining room. The second bedroom has one twin bed. The Ocean Front Villas have a plunge pool and an additional bathroom as well as all the features of the two bedroom ocean units. The are located directly above the cliffs of Cupecoy Beach. The Blue Sapphire restaurant is situated next to the pool and is open for breakfast and lunch, while transforming into the Opus for fine dinning at night. The restaurant is owned and managed by Jose from Le Tastavin and Pascal from L' Alabama in Grand Case. They bring there vast experience in preparing gourmet French quisine to The Blue Sapphire and Opus at the Sapphire Beach Club Breakfast is served from 7:00AM till 11:00AM with lunch served 11:00AM till 6:00PM. | How to submit request for Temporary Residency |

A permit for temporary residency may be obtained by the petitioner/employer submitting a request ot the Governor of the Island Territory. It is suggested that original documents are not submitted unless specifically asked for. |

| How to Obtain Permanent Residency |
|
A non-national may obtain permanent residency after they have legally proven that he or she has been residing in the island territory of St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles for ten years in a row. Residency can be proven by temporary residency permits, continuous SVB (Social Security Bank) coverage, or a declaration of the Tax Inspectorate for the years that one is registered as a tax payer. |
