These are mostly privately owned, however, a number of the owners will rent them on a short term or long term basis. Usually it will require a term of at least one week. The resort has a swimming pool, with a casino and fine dining just across the street. There are 126 good sized condo's with 1,2 & 3 bedrooms fully equipped with kitchens. none The Deluxe Double units include two queen beds, a full bath, patio, and kitchen. The One Bedroom Suites include one king bed, sunken living room with queen sofa bed, two full baths, dining room, patio, full kitchen. The Two Bedroom Suites include one master bedroom with King bed, full bath and walk in closet. A second bedroom with two queen beds and full bath. A sunken living room with queen sofa bed, dining area, and full kitchen. The Three Bedroom Villas include all the features of the Two Bedroom Suites with a king bed and bath in the additional bedroom and a fourth bathroom. A permit for temporary residency may be obtained by the petitioner/employer submitting a request ot the Governor of the Island Territory. It is suggested that original documents are not submitted unless specifically asked for. |

| How to Obtain Permanent Residency |
|
A non-national may obtain permanent residency after they have legally proven that he or she has been residing in the island territory of St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles for ten years in a row. Residency can be proven by temporary residency permits, continuous SVB (Social Security Bank) coverage, or a declaration of the Tax Inspectorate for the years that one is registered as a tax payer. |
