A Very quiet island that offers some of the world's best beaches. A great place to let sand gravity take its toll. The most famous of the beaches is Shoal Bay East. This beach has a nice reef just a small distance off shore that provides some very nice snorkeling as long as the surf is not too rough. In any event it turned out to be a quite nice trip. On the way home I decided that in the future we will stay either at The Royal Islander LaPlage, The Grand Case Beach Club, or in a nice villa in Terres Basses. I no longer enjoy driving around the island. The traffic is just too much! Staying at the Royal Islander would be the choice for a week of relaxing by the pool and visiting with our friends while enjoying some good food. The Grand Case Beach Club would allow us to enjoy the great foot found in Grand Case as well as a quick trip to Orient Beach. |
